APV dates: 7-9 FEBRUARY, 2020 (1 leader+1 participant)
YE DATES: 3-11 APRIL, 2020 (the same persons from APV+6 participants)
VENUE: Dudley, UK
The group aims to address the issues of young people being labeled in our society and put into boxes. The project celebrates difference, taking off the labels and celebrating diversity. We want young people to be able to be themselves, express themselves, while still being respected by others around them.
The project will be delivered in an inclusive way making sure that all the participants feel included and engaged fully in the programme. The exchange will be carried out through informal and non-formal education methodologies, with the support of the staff, group leaders and volunteers involved in the project. There will be created workshops, community events, fashion shows, and intercultural awareness sessions. Working with other young people and community members to share our learning.
P.S.: the same 2 persons attending APV (advanced preparation visit) has to participate also in YE (Youth Exchange).
The project is financially supported by KA1 of the European Commission Erasmus Plus Programme. Hence, all the costs related to the participants’ accommodation will be covered as well as the travel costs will be made according the km calculator (360 EUR for GREECE).
